How can I even capture the scene from last night??? I will do my best...
Chris was holding Ethan who was upset and just overall cranky from getting up from his afternoon nap. He is standing at the kitchen coutner trying to make him a cocoa and Ethan is yelling about him wanting to pour the milk on his own. Owen is on the floor with 3 Thomas Take Along trains. He sees the gap between Chris' legs as a possible tunnel for his trains and begins to throw them through, smiling at his own imagination. Ethan then begins to try and screw the cap onto his sippy. Something goes terribly wrong and milk is spilled everywhere. Some hits Owen on the head, at which point he decides crawling between Chris' legs is his best option to escape the milk that is now raining down on him. Ethan in the meantime begins to cry saying that he got milk everywhere, which although true is really not a huge issue. We just looked at each other and starting laughing...how our life has changed these past few years....we are just so grateful. And I am truly grateful to be on this journey which such a wonderful man. We are so truly blessed.

Later that night Chris decided he wanted to do the cooking. He had Ethan "help" and it was just a wonderful night.

Isn't amazing how much your life changes when you have children. And isn't even more amazing that even when times are really really rough you still wouldn't change it for the world?!
