Soccer

Well we took Ethan to his first soccer practice today. The easiest way to sum it up is that we should have just paid for Owen. The YMCA tried so hard to get Ethan involved and he wanted nothing to do with it. He stood there and watched and at one point dribbled the ball to the fence and back, but that was pretty much it. He wasn't alone in his uncertainty, Darren was also wary and sat this first practice out. Luckily for us, the coach was nice and let Owen play Sharks and Minnows and labeled Owen a "little minnow." When it came time for snacks and to dribble the ball to a tree, Ethan was happy to do that, sit in a circle and discuss the word, "responsibility." Here's to hoping for a better week next week!
