Fires...

Well it has been a long week. Chris stayed behind during the fires because he had to work, while I evacuated with friends to San Juan Capistrano. The following are pictures and video that Chris took while staying behind...

Our pool



As we evacuated Sierra Linda Dr. the first night, this is the fire coming at us with 50 mph winds.



After initial evacuations were complete, part of my team is standing by on Cloverdale Rd., near the Wild Animal Park. The wind made an ash/sand storm.


Video from Cloverdale Rd. I panned 360 degrees to show how much fire surrounded Escondido as the sun came up the next morning.

Arriving Back at the station the next morning after working 17 hours. Look at the flag and the trees to see how strong the wind still is.
