Invisible friend?

Periodically Ethan brings up his pet mouse...so far I have never seen him in real life, so he obviously lives in Ethan's imagination. He pops in at the most interesting times...he was on the plane to Connecticut briefly and also put in an appearance tonight as we were watching TV. I wonder when he will show up again...odd.
